Leather furniture repair
I repair all kinds of leather furniture including sofas, chairs and chesterfields to bring them back to life by fixing things like rips, stains, colour loss, cracking, scuffs, scratches, peeling and damage to make your leather furniture look as good as the day it was brand new.
Small Upholstery work
I carry out all kinds of small upholstery repairs including dining chair recovers and Queen Anne chair reupholstery to make them look as good as new. Choose from replacement panels or complete recovers to fix any damage or to simply give something a new look.
Antique Restoration
I also have specialist training and experience in antique restoration, including things like bringing old furniture back to life, re-antiquing chesterfields and restoring old leather to fantastic condition.
Car Leather Repair
If your car or motorbike leather needs a new lease of life or has damage, scuffs and discolouration, I can make it look like new using traditional techniques and tested methods to make your vehicle look exactly as you imagined.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the industry I learned my trade using traditional techniques designed to last, rather than some modern shortcuts that often don’t stand the test of time.
I mix all my colours by hand and have worked with some high-end furniture manufacturers and antique restorers, alongside some of the biggest high street names in furniture.
In all the years I’ve been doing this there’s not a lot I haven’t come across and I’ve repaired and renovated some furniture that the owners had thought was un-fixable.
Leather is my specialty and I focus on this. I’m not a franchise, I’m just one man sharing my skill with others so they can get more years out of the furniture they love.
I’m completely independent, which means you won’t pay premium add-ons to a large corporation, I work on reputation and as such always give the very best service possible to everyone I work with.
I work in all areas of the North East from Newcastle to York and everywhere in-between.
